Some times friendships just 'click'. They blossom without much effort. Others take time and care; sunshine, water and good soil. Irena Stallard and I were lucky enough to experience an immediate rosy connection the second we met on social media. But Irena's life harvest did not come so easily.
I am thrilled to share that Irena's heartbreaking and inspirational road to her garden (from Soviet Lithuania to 'Free' Virginia, U.S.A.) is now a gorgeous editorial feature in a Lithuanian Woman's Magazine, Moteris. The September 2012 article is called 'Her Freedom Garden'. Warning: You can fall in love with this woman in an instant.
Ekspress Leidyba, a leading magazine publisher in Lithuania, entered the digital content market by starting publishing electronic versions of one of the oldest and most popular magazines for women Moteris (Woman in English). This move was made possible by digital magazine software Optimalmag () which is developed by M2 Technologijos, a long-term partner of Ekspress Leidyba. (If you are loving reading mags on your iPad, you'll need a gorgeous case! See below for ad)
