Happy New Year Everyone!
Il y a beaucoup de talent au Canada, à nous de le montrer et de le célébrer. On le mérite bien.
(We’re a talented lot, we Canadians, and we should show it off. We deserve it.)
My Blog was awarded ‘Arts & Culture’ 2nd!  Thank You to the 2010 Canadian Weblog Awards!
Congratulations to 1st Place (National Post) and 3rd (from my hometown Ottawa)! You are incredible, of course!
The Canadian Weblog Awards are intended to promote good weblogs of all genres from across Canada year round through regular interviews, articles, and the nomination, judging, and award process that culminates with the announcement of the top three weblogs in each category on January 1st.
Thank You to you, my reader!  After 2505 posts in the last 3.5 years, I am beginning to feel my groove, my place, my voice.  Blogging has been an adventure and a life savior – honest! I am so honored to be in the company of exceptional coast to coast Nominees, Top 5′s and Winners.   My fellow Bloggers and ‘Blogebrities’ have inspired me to create better work – Thank You!  Canada is a nation filled and overflowing with media stars and Cultural Creatives.  The planet is filled with minds that can only be described ‘nothing short of miracles’.  We have to be the luckiest generation of Publishers, Editors, Journalists, Photographers and Writers.  Who would ever have dreamed things would get ‘this good’?
Thank You and Jurors! This is amazing!
I want to personally thank my Art Director/Web Designer ‘ASK’ (Arthur Scott Kononuk),  who is currently finishing his second degree in Art Direction/Media/Advertising at OCAD in Toronto.  You captured my vision for the look of and gave it the ‘sparkle’ it deserved.  I know this isn’t your first prestigious award (you are so great), but I want to share this one with you! Your future is so bright!
After more than a year of preparations, nominations, coding, writing, primping, preening, and two jury rounds, we have finally arrived at the final announcement of the inaugural 2010 Canadian Weblog Awards.
Congratulations to all the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. We are proud to show off your mad blogging achievements. Thank you for doing Canada proud.
Huge thanks also goes out to all the jurors who volunteered their time and effort to make this juried award a reality. We are honoured to have such dedicated individuals to realize this vision.
From Me: I am just a simple girl from Canada with a camera, a blog and a laptop.  Stay tuned for some shiny content, upcoming (shiny brite) Liberty Interviews and more! 2011 is going to be even better – I promise – and the next decade is going to be mind-blowing-wonderful! PFXO
